Main Street lane closure begins May 16

From IDOT: Northbound Main Street (Illinois 29/U.S. 24) near Ravine Street will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, May 16 to address drainage issues. The work is expected to last approximately two months. Motorists can expect delays.

A new slogan is being developed for East Peoria and officials want the public to vote on their favorite. The survey is available online, and paper copies are at the Fondulac District Library. The survey is available May 4-25. All responses are anonymous.
