A public hearing be conducted by the City of Washington at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 17 to discuss boundary amendments to the Northern Tazewell County Enterprise Zone to add two parcels in the City of Washington. The City of East Peoria is part of the Northern Tazewell County Enterprise Zone. The public hearing will occur at Five Points Washington, 380 N Wilmor Road, Washington, in the Library Meeting Room.
The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss proposed boundary amendments to add to parcels at the southwest intersection of West Jefferson Street and North Wilmor Road.
Copies of the current legal descriptions of the enterprise zone as well as the legal descriptions of the proposed additions and related information is available the office of Washington City Clerk Valeri Brod in Washington City Hall, 301 Walnut Street, Washington.
During the public hearing, people will have the opportunity to present both written and oral comments and testimony regarding the proposed amendment to the enterprise zone. People may appear and be heard in person or by attorney or by other representative communication in writing in relation to the proposed amendment.
The public hearing may be adjourned or continued from time to time to another date and/or location within 380 N Wilmor Road, Washington without further notice.
