[ARCHIVED] City announces storm brush pickup

Special brush collection

Downed limbs caused by ice and snow January 1 and 2 will be picked up in a special city-wide brush collection February 15 through 19.

The brush will be picked up on residents’ regularly scheduled trash collection day. It is not necessary to call and schedule collection.

This collection is for brush only. Branches cannot exceed 3 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. Logs will not be accepted. Brush must be stacked with the ends facing the curb. The brush pile must fit in an area no larger than 4 feet wide, 4 feet high and 8 feet long, which is approximately the size of a pickup truck bed.

If a winter storm occurs the week of the brush collection, the pickup will occur the week of February 21.
