Car Seat Checks
Let the East Peoria Fire Department check your child's car seat for proper installation. There is a monthly check event the first Wednesday of the month (except for January and February), or you can make an appointment. Car seat checks are free.

Drug Drop Box
A drop box residents can use for disposal of expired and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications has been installed in front of the East Peoria Public Safety Building.

Electrical Aggregation
The City’s electric aggregation program has been extended through December 2020 with a fixed rate of 6.007 cents per kilowatt-hour. Homefield Energy will continue to be the program's electricity supplier.

Paul Peterson Bright Spot Award
The Paul Peterson Bright Spot Award goes to a resident or business who has eye-appealing gardens and/or landscaping in their front yard, making it a "bright spot" of the area.

War Memorial Veterans Street Naming Program
The City of East Peoria is honoring its residents who have died in military service through its War Memorial Veterans Street Naming Program. The names of East Peoria's war dead can be placed on a sign below the street sign of where a surviving family member resides.
